The College Sports Communicators 30 Under 30 program recognizes emerging athletics communications professionals throughout the CSC membership. It was created in 2022 by the CSC Young Professionals Committee. Nominees are encouraged at all divisional levels and all types of communications and creative positions.

Nominators do not need to be current CSC members. Athletics directors, coaches and colleagues are encouraged to submit nominations.

Important Dates

Nomination deadline: Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025 at Midnight (ET)
Class of 2025 announced: Dec. 8, 2025
Note: Nominations for the Class of 2026 will open in August 2026.

Criteria
To be eligible, nominees must:

  1. Be 29 years old or younger on Dec. 31, 2025
  2. Have an active 2025-26 CSC membership — click here for details about membership
  3. Not have won the CSC 30 Under 30 honor previously

Candidates will be considered based on achievement in one or more areas such as:

  • Professional success
  • Impact on their athletic department/conference office
  • Service to CSC

Note: Those who have been nominated in the past but not selected will require new nominations for 2025.

Selection
Honorees will be chosen by a selection group composed of representatives from each CSC Committee, the CSC executive board, CSC staff, CSC divisional cabinets, and selected past 30 under 30 honorees. Nominators do not have to be current CSC members — athletics directors, coaches and other colleagues are encouraged to submit nominations. No self-nominations accepted.

Those selected for the Class of 2025 will be contacted in late October by a member of the Young Professionals Committee to confirm details and collect materials for the announcement on Dec. 8.
