Royce Named SID at American International

Greg Royce has been named sports information director at American International University effective immediately, Director of Athletics Robert E. Burke announced.

Royce will be responsible for all facets of public and media relations for AIC’s 16-sport athletics
program.

 Royce comes to AIC from the University of New Hampshire, where he served as an athletic media relations assistant for the past three years.  While at New Hampshire, Royce served as the primary media relations contact for women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s gymnastics and men’s and women’s track and field. 

He also assisted with publicity efforts for all of UNH’s 24 sports, including football, men’s basketball and the nationally-prominent men’s and women’s ice hockey programs.

 A 2000 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, Royce assisted in SNHU’s Sports Information office for three years as a student.  Royce graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management in May, 2000.

 Royce also worked as a sports correspondent at Foster’s Daily Democrat (Dover, N.H.) from 2001-2003 and worked in the public relations department at New Hampshire International Speedway from 1999-2000.
