CoSIDA Seeking Board Nominations

The CoSIDA Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for several positions to the CoSIDA Board of Director's. Positions include a new third vice-president, two at-large representatives and two at-large college division representatives. The new third vice-president will be coming from the Northeast Region of CoSIDA which includes the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia. Also included is Washington D.C. and the Canadian providences of Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick. The most previous CoSIDA member to go through the officer rotation from the Northeast was Pete Moore of Syracuse. The two at-large representative can be nominated from any of the four regions of CoSIDA. At-large members leaving the CoSIDA board at the upcoming Workshop in Cleveland are Barb Kowal of the University of Texas and Shelly Poe of West Virginia University. The two at-large college division representatives, can also be nominated from any of the four regions but can only be from college division schools. The two positions are currently held by Tom DiCamillo of West Chester University and Mike Robles of UC Davis. DiCamillo and Robles were appointed to the CoSIDA board following last year's workshop when the board was expanded. Both are eligible to be nominated since they were appointed to the board.
