CoSIDA Board Conference Call Board Meeting June 4, 2003 (Full BoardCall) I. President Alan Cannon (Texas A&M) checked arrival times in Cleveland for board members. II. Cannon asked Board members to again contact the committee chairs that they are liaisons for and asked them to submit committee reports if they have not already done so. He said he wanted to have the reports copied and distributed to the Board prior to their arrival in Cleveland. III. Cannon reviewed the committee representatives, sponsors and others who have requested to meet with the Board in Cleveland and asked the Board for input on others that the Board would need to meet with. IV. Cannon said the NIT Breakfast would be at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2. V. First Vice President Tammy Boclair (Vanderbilt) reviewed the Job Seekers set-up and the seminars on job skills that are incorporated in this year's event. She praised Lawrence Fan and the committee for their efforts to enhance the Job Seekers experience. She also review the Workshop schedule. VI. Second Vice President Rod Commons (Washington State) reviewed the social calendar for the Cleveland Workshop and he and Director of Marketing Ed Carpenter (Boston University) reviewed sponsorships. VII. Boclair said she had received a Cleveland Workshop logo from the host committee and would distribute to the Board for various uses during the Workshop. VIII. Third Vice President Joe Hernandez (Ball State) said he was waiting to see a final proof on the 2003 Awards from Jostens and was continuing to work with recipients on number of attendees, tickets needed, etc. IX. Treasurer Dave Wohlhueter (Cornell) reviewed convention pre-registrations and hotel arrangements. X. Secretary Jeff Hodges (North Alabama) said the Convention issue of the Digest would be delivered Friday and in the mail on June 9th. He distributed a final breakdown, by District, of the CoSIDA membership for 2002-03 - 1,954. He also said there were two paid inserts for the Convention Digest issue from new advertisers. There was no other old or new business and the call adjourned.
