Rock Hill, SC--Veteran sports information director Jack Frost has been promoted by Winthrop University to the position of assistant athletic director for media relations. Frost, who will begin his 14th year at Winthrop this fall, has been a CoSIDA member since 1978 and previously worked at Eastern Kentucky University for 14 years, the last six as assistant SID. As a CoSIDA member he has served on the Workshop Program Committee and the Publications Awards Committee. He is a past-president of the Big South Conference Sports Information Directors Committee. Frost, 53, graduated from Eastern Kentucky in 1972 with a degree in education and earned his master's of sports administration degree from EKU.
