Ginsburg Named Director at Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. – Josh Ginsburg has been named director of sports media relations and marketing for the Athletics Department at the University of Mobile. Ginsburg, who has served the last three years as the graduate assistant for sports information, replaces Kevin Stoots, who will remain with the university as its head coach for men’s and women’s cross country. A 2000 graduate, Ginsburg remained with the university to pursue a master's degree, which he received in May 2003. During his tenure as Stoots’ assistant, Ginsburg was responsible for developing the athletics website, media guide design and layout, in addition to helping write a majority of the department's press releases, and helping out with game day operations. A member of CoSIDA, Ginsburg has won eight NAIA-SIDA publication awards including “Best Cover” for his 2002-03 basketball game programs. Ginsburg, along with his new graduate assistant Jared Mathews, will not only be responsible for sports media relations but marketing as well, as the athletics department will be making a fresh move to enhance its notoriety and improve athletic event attendance.
