Scott Kuykendall has been promoted to associate director of media relations after serving four years as an assistant at Western Michigan University. A native of New Berlin, Wisc., Kuykendall came to Western Michigan after serving as an intern in the University of Cincinnati and Mississippi State University sports information offices. Kuykendall is the media relations contact for men’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, women’s golf and softball. In the absence of media relation director Daniel Jankowski, Kuykendall will assume a supervisory role in the WMU media relations office.
