College Sports Information Directors of America

Justin Maskus has been named sports information director at Christian Brothers University effective August 25. He replaces Rudy Yovich who recently accepted a position at Indiana University Purdue University - Ft. Wayne. Maskus recently served as assistant sports information director at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau where he was responsible for media relations efforts of five Division I programs as well as development of media guides and the athletic website. While at Southeast, Maskus worked with baseball, women’s basketball, volleyball, golf and gymnastics while assisting with football, men’s basketball and various other sports. He will be responsible for the media relations efforts of CBU’s 11 NCAA Division-II varsity sports. A native of Cedar Hill, Mo., Maskus holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Central Missouri State University and will be finishing the requirements for a master’s in sports administration from Southeast Missouri.
