Menlo College Picks Slavin

Matt Slavin, former sports information assistant at the
University of San Francisco has been named sports information director at Menlo
College, Director of Athletics Caitlin Collier announced.  Slavin served
as an assistant at USF while pursuing his master's degree in sports management,
which he received in May. 

Slavin returns to Menlo College, where he played baseball for three season
(1990-1992) before graduating in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in mass
communications.  Before working in the University of San Francisco sports
information department, Slavin spent time working in the athletics departments
at both Skyline College and the San Francisco Unified School District.

Slavin will replace Nicholas Enriquez, who left to take an assistant baseball
coaching position at Dartmouth College.
