ESPN.com Seeking Soccer Information

To Whom It May Concern:

I’d like to introduce myself as the new soccer editor for ESPN.com. As such, I’ve decided to ramp up coverage of U.S. college soccer dramatically focusing on both men’s and women’s soccer. I therefore have the following requests:

1. Please put me on your distribution list for your school’s college soccer media guide. In the interim, I would also like to receive your media guide for the 2004 season just ended if possible. My address is listed below.

2. Going forward through the entire academic year, I would be interested in receiving any articles, game reports or written features on players, coaches or recruiting. These can be either from your Sports Information / Media Relations office or even from your respective college campus newspapers. We’d also like to receive digital photos to accompany anything you send us.

These stories and features will be posted on the ESPN Soccernet.com site and each article will credit the writer, the school and also provide a pushback link to your school’s athletic website.

For an example of this, please check the following URL on a story that Indiana Media Relations provided us with:

3. All stories will be posted either within the main U.S. home page of ESPN Soccernet

or within the specific NCAA / High School section

Should you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me

Yours Sincerely,

Jen Chang
