Nance Joins Houston Hall of Honor

HOUSTON, TX -- Retired University of Houston sports information director Ted Nance is part of a 10-member class being inducted in the school's Hall of Honor.

Nance will join football stars Warren McVea and Leonard Mitchell, golfers Billy Ray Brown and Richard Crawford, track and field standouts Jolanda Jones and Ollan Cassell, former baseball coach Lovette Hill, basketball player Michael Young and swimmer Carin Cone when the class is inducted on Nov. 5.

He was inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame in 1979 in a class that included Jim Mott (Wisconsin) and Dave Schuthess (Brigham Young).

Ted resides in Corpus Christi, Texas, with his wife, Dianna.
