Centenary College of Louisiana recently hired Elizabeth Wamsley as the
head women's basketball coach. She is currently 25 years and 11 months of
age. I am trying to find out if she is currently the youngest D-I coach in
the nation.
I have heard from several conference offices but have not
heard from the following conferences: ACC, A-10, Big Sky, Big Ten, Big
West, Colonial, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-Eastern, OVC, Patriot, Southland,
and SWAC.
Please respond to me with a yes (with how many coaches are younger) or a
no, but a response either way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for
your help!
