The CoSIDA Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for several positions to
the Board of Directors.
Positions include a new third vice-president, two at-large representatives and
two college division representatives.
The new third vice-president will come from the Southeast Region of CoSIDA.
That includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Current president Tammy
Boclair is the last CoSIDA member to go through the office rotation from the
Southeast.
The two at-large representatives can be nominated from any of the four regions
of CoSIDA. At-large members leaving the board at the upcoming Workshop in
Calgary are Carol Hudson (Old Dominion) and Judy Willson (Sun Belt Conference).
Both filled the remaining terms of prior at-large reps and can be renominated
for a full term.
The two college division representatives must come from the West (Alaska,
Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas,
Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon,
Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Yukon
Territorty) and the Southeast. Going off the board from the West is Rich
Rosenthal (Southern Oregon) and from the Southeast is Walt Riddle (Saint Leo).
