Calvin College sports information director Jeff Febus has an extra reason to happy these days.
He is a father for the first time.
"Julie (his wife) and I are the proud parents of the newest Calvin Knight -- Jarrett William Febus," Febus said in an e-mail.
Jarrett William was born on May 24. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 inches long.
"All three member of the Febus team are doing well," Jeff Febus said.
Febus has done a great job providing the media with information about Calvin sports for the previous 10 years. He's been as helpful as Hope College counterpart Tom Renner, who will go down as the best sports information director in the history of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
