Karen Auerbch Hired at Northern Arizona
Karen Auerbach has been named assistant media relations director at Northern Arizona University, Athletics Director Jim Fallis announced. She will assist the director in the day-to-day coverage of all 15 intercollegiate sports while serving as the primary contact for several sports, including volleyball, women's basketball and women's swimming and diving.
She joins the NAU staff after working at the University of Connecticut as an athletic communications assistant, coordinating the publicity efforts for women's volleyball, men's ice hockey, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's cross country and track and field. Auerbach also worked at Rollins College and James Madison.
At James Madison, she was a member of the archery team for four years, earning All-America honors. She holds a degree in kinesiology and recreation studies.
