Panter Takes Post at Gywnned-Mercy

Chris Panter has been named sports information director at Gwynned-Mercy College, Athletic Director Keith Mondillo announced.

Panter begins his tenure at Gwynedd-Mercy as the school’s first full-time SID. He spent the last three years as SID at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for a 21-sport Division-III program’s media relations efforts while being in charge of the school’s athletic Web site.

“The athletic department as a whole is very happy with our selection. We feel he will be a big asset to Gwynedd-Mercy College with his experience in the sports information field,” Mondillo said.

Panter also has also worked at Lehigh University, Rutgers University-Camden, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and was a sports reporter for the (Camden N.J).Courier Post. He is a 1998 graduate of Wesley College.
