College Sports Information Directors of America

The University of South Alabama Media Relations Department has
announced the hiring of Tim Lutz.

Lutz, who worked the past two years at Troy University, has joined the USA Media
Relations staff as a graduate assistant. Lutz, a native of Dothan, Ala., will
oversee the USA athletics Web site and will serve as primary contact for the
Jaguar track and cross country programs.

At Troy, Lutz served as media contact for the tennis and rodeo programs. In
addition, he contributed to website maintenance. Lutz received a bachelor's
degree in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy in 2003.

"Tim is going to be an excellent addition to our media relations staff," said
USA Media Relations Director Matt Smith. "He is enthusiastic and has a broad
knowledge in sports information."
