Andy Berglund and Jason Dormeyer have been
named graduate assistants in the North Dakota State
University sports information office. They will be
involved with all sports at NDSU.
Berglund is originally from Valley City, North
Dakota. He received his B.A. in public relations from
the University of Minnesota. He worked for the
Minnesota Gopher athletic department as an assistant
to the athletic director before joining the staff at
NDSU.
He also worked internationally for Major League
Baseball in Germany the past three years and spent one
year working as a season ticket sales representing for
the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Athletically, Andy played and coached baseball in the
United Kingdom, Sweden, and Australia.
Doemeyer hails from Oklahoma City. He attended the
University of Central Oklahoma for two years where he
ran cross country and track for the Bronchos.
He finished his undergraduate work at Minnesota
State-Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in mass
communication-print journalism.
While in Oklahoma, Jason worked for Amateur Wrestling
Magazine, a publication in its 50th year of covering
high school through Olympic wrestling. He also was the
assistant editor of Oklahoma Track and Field News, a
newsletter which covered high school and college track
for the Sooner State.
