The SUNY Old Westbury Athletic Department announced the hiring of James W. Gover as the new sports information director/ NCAA compliance officer.
Gover arrives from Adelphi University where he served as an assistant to the sports information director, Suzette McQueen and also earned his Masters in Sports Management. Gover also worked in Sports Media Relations for one year at Stony Brook University.
Gover brings with him a unique combination of unbridled enthusiasm and a passion for sports which will enable him to meet the challenges of taking the Old Westbury Panthers’ athletic program to the top of the Skyline Conference.
Gover should fit in perfectly with the panther athletic department and will continue the efforts of achieving success in collegiate athletics.
