Academic All-America Hall of Fame

To All CoSIDA Members:

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame.  A link to a nomination form is included below for your use.

The Academic All-America Hall of Fame program honors those former Academic All-America Team Members who have attained high achievements in their professions and have made substantial contributions to their communities.

Up to four inductees will be named from past Academic All-America Teams. A list of eligible nominees from your school can be found on this Web site. Click under "Academic All-America," then scroll to the bottom for "All-Time Academic All-America Listings By School" for a complete list from each college and university.

When nominating, please keep in mind the key characteristics of a Hall of Fame member include not only career accomplishments, but also strong community service.

Please send nominations via e-mail by February 28, 2005 to:

                Joe Onderko
                Sports Information Director
                Westminster College/Presidents' Athletic Conference
                onderkjm@westminster.edu

For your reference, the Academic All-America ballot will be used to determine the top 25 candidates with the most votes. These names will be forwarded to the Academic All-America Hall of Fame Committee, which will review the finalists and select up to four inductees.

Please direct any questions to Joe Onderko at 724-946-6357, or contact me at 781-891-2334.

Sincerely,

Dick Lipe
