Dear Fellow CoSIDA Member:
It’s the time of year when the Committee on Committees begins assembling the information we need to assign members to committees for the 2005-06 year.
We have been taking steps to handle the process electronically, and wish to avoid actual mail and faxes as much as possible this year. Attached to this e-mail you will find the annual Committee Preference Survey, as well as a list of contact names on our
committee to whom you should send your survey. Please try to do this by e-mail if at all possible. All you will have to do is list your five most preferred committees, in order, in your e-mail and then answer the simple questions on the bottom half of the survey..
As always, we will attempt to put you on your committee of choice, but please remember that this is not always possible.
Please remember, even if you were on a committee last year you must respond again this year. We have no way of knowing who wants to remain a member, or does not, or may even have left the profession.
Once you receive your assignment your duties with that committee begin at the Workshop in Philadelphia. If you will be attending, plan to meet with the committee on which you will be serving next year at its meeting.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact either your District Representative, or myself. We want to do the best job that we can in formulating the committees for 2005-06.
