REPORTS:
1. Commons, president
·         AAA Hall of Fame Update – selections have been made and Dick Enberg is currently contacting top candidates to make sure they can attend…will induct four, plus one honorary member.
·         Dick Enberg Award – profiles of 16 candidates have been forwarded to selection committee (same group as last year, same candidates since there were so many excellent candidates on last year’s list and committee is short on time this year)…deadline April 29 with conference call May 2 to chose winner
·         Kent Brown will be sent $1,000 from CoSIDA for the scholarship set up for his children (following the death of his wife earlier this year)…President will contact Kent
 
2. Joe Hernandez, First VP
·         Discussed delays in developing on-line balloting and voting program since AAA committee has not been able to provide information for test…cannot have program in place this spring…as soon as information from committee is forwarded to ICS, testing will be done to make sure everything works properly
·         The Workshop program committee is working with ESPN to try and involve them as much as possible…committee has suggested if Statcrew is involved, it only be as part of an NCAA panel dealing with stats…Dave Wohlhueter again addressed issue of being fare to all exhibitors…Ed Carpenter is pursuing Statcrew as a sponsor…Rod Commons agreed could not just open up a panel for Statcrew, but since all D-I schools must use Statcrew’s program in football to provide the NCAA with stats, we need to look at alternatives as a service the membership
 
3. Doug Dull, Second VP
·         Larry Dougherty and the Philadelphia organizing committee met recently…Doug is waitng for prices on bus transportation…also must finalize Franklin Field (U. Penn campus) plans for Tuesday’s picnic and softball
·         Pursuit of breakfast sponsors continuing…attempting to identify potential new sponsors and also working with local organizing committee to identify local business that may be interested in sponsorship
·         Contacting Phillies baseball team to see what arrangements can be made for tickets…weekend games usually sell out so not at easy ticket to secure
 
4. Charles Bloom, Third VP
·         Special Awards Committee has made final selections for 2005 awards…reviewed list and winners will be contacted shortly…Charles will try to have announcements ready by the end of the month for the June issue of the Digest
 
6. Dave Wohlheuter, Treasurer
·         Pre-registration underway, although early returns are slow
 
7. Jeff Hodges, Secretary/Digest Editor
·         Mailing labels sent to AAA coordinators for spring selections.
·         May 1 is the deadline for the June Digest and the Workshop (July) Digest issue will have a deadline of late May...June issue of the Digest must contain a summary of any constitutional changes presented.
·         Jeff has been approached by a new company for Digest advertising and has sent them an invoice…Dave has yet to receive a check for ads from Schaffhauser Design
