Ask CoSIDA - Honorable Mention All-Americas

Virginia Tech is trying to research Associated Press honorable mention Division I football All-America selections. The AP has told us they do not have a list of their honorable mention selections on file. Outside of going through old newspapers, have any schools researched this area and found a person(s) or publication(s) that might be a source for information on honorable mention All-America selections, or themselves created a database of such information? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
