Fairleigh Dickinson University Director of Athletics David Langford announced several staff changes in the Athletics Department on Wednesday, including the resignation of Director of Athletic Communications Drew Brown.
Brown served as a member of the Knights staff since February of 2001, acting as the main contact for men's soccer and men's basketball along with five other sports. Brown was responsible for the publicity and assisted in the marketing program of Fairleigh Dickinson's 18-sport athletics department. During his time at FDU, Brown made great strides to build up the Athletic Communications program to include hosting conference, ECAC and NCAA tournaments, as well as moving the department ahead in technology, publication design and Web site production.
"Drew made valuable contributions on behalf of the student-athletes and coaches here at FDU," said Langford. "He will be missed."
