Dave Caspole will return to Hartwick College on Aug. 15 for his second stint as the school’s sports information director, the Hawks announced.
Caspole, who served Hartwick in the same capacity from 1994-98, replaces Mike Chilson. Oneonta High graduate Chilson stepped down after three years earlier this week to enroll in graduate school at the University of Tennessee.
Caspole, who was a press steward for tennis during the 1996 Olympics, worked as an SID for Saint Michael’s College (Vt.), Rochester Institute of Technology and Norwich University (Vt.).
Caspole is a 1994 graduate of Westfield State College (Mass.) and a native of Gardiner, Maine.
