Brenna Webb has been named assistant media relations director the University of Denver.  She will oversee the publicity of DU's volleyball, women's basketball and men's and women's tennis programs. Webb joins the athletic media relations team at Denver following a two-year stint as an intern with the University of Illinois in both athletic marketing and sports information departments.

At the Senior Bowl, Webb worked with some of the most talented coaches and players in the NFL, coordinating both local and national media interviews in the week prior to game day.

A former Illinois cheerleader, Webb expanded her role in Illini athletics as an undergrad, serving as a student office assistant for Illinois football as well as joining Volunteer Illini Recruiting. Webb also served one term on the University of Illinois Athletic Board as a student representative from 2002-2003.
