Director of Online Services
College Sports Information Directors of America
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare, edit, monitor and post content for the CoSIDA.com Web site.
* Respond to requests for feedback on the Web site.
* Work with the Board of Directors, the editorial committee and the officers to ensure the smooth operation and updating of the site.
* Work with CoSIDAs designated Internet partner on projects and maintenance of the site.
* Report directly to the Board of Directors as an ex-officio member.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree required.
* Experience with developing and maintaining daily content on a collegiate athletics Web site.
* Familiarity with the athletics media relations industry and intercollegiate athletics in general.
* Thorough knowledge of HTML code with an emphasis on presenting graphically enticing content that is equally considerate of journalistic content.
* Outstanding writing and editing skills with thorough knowledge of Associated Press style.
* Familiarity with Web design software, image editing software (PhotoShop), Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access) and Adobe Acrobat.
SALARY
* This is a part-time position with CoSIDA with no benefits. Salary range is $13,000-$15,000.
