Roleson Promoted at Horizon League

Will Roleson has been promoted to Associate Commissioner for Communications and Multimedia, Horizon League Commissioner Jonathan B. LeCrone announced.

"This promotion completes our staffing plan for the year and, more importantly, recognizes the contributions and expanded responsibilities of Will," said LeCrone. "His leadership has been a key ingredient to our progress, and I look forward to what he can help us accomplish in the future."

Roleson is in his third year on the Horizon League staff and served previously as Assistant Commissioner for Communications. He coordinates the Leagues communications efforts and serves as the producer for the Horizon League Network (HLN), the new broadband channel devoted to Horizon League sports. In addition, he is the liaison to the Leagues media partners, including ESPN and CSTV, and assists with future scheduling for mens and womens basketball.

Prior to joining the League staff, Roleson was the SID at Kent State from 1999-2004 following three years as assistant SID. A native of Brookville, Ind., he earned a bachelors degree in communications from Miami University in 1993. He recently was named to a three-year term as an at-large representative to the Board of Directors of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
