J.P. Widner has been named sports information director of Salem College. Widner's duties will include game management, wellness center director, physical education instructor, and head cross country coach.
Widner will assume the position on August 1, 2006. Salem College, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a provisional member of the NCAA Division III.
Widner received his bachelor's degree at Wayne State College 1992 and his master's degree from the University of South Dakota in 2000.
