Sonoma State Promotes Bronzan

Sonoma State SID Brandon Bronzan has been promoted to Assistant
Athletics Director.  He will continue in his role as Sports Information
Director, but will have additional responsibilities in the areas of
scheduling, event management and website development, especially in the
areas of e-commerce and audio/video streaming.

"Brandon has done an outstanding job covering our 13 intercollegiate teams
for the past four years.  The expansion of his role in the administration of
the department will benefit our student-athletes, coaches and staff
members,"  Director of Athletics Bill Fusco said.

Bronzan, who came to Sonoma State in October 2002, currently oversees
publicity and media relations matters concerning the Sonoma State University
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA),
Bronzan serves on the organizations Publications Committee.  He is also a
regional voting member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of
America (NCBWA).

Prior to his arrival at Sonoma State, Bronzan was a Media Relations
Assistant with the Tennessee Smokies, then the Class AA affiliate of the
Toronto Blue Jays.  Bronzan also worked for the Visalia Oaks and as a
student assistant in the Sports Information office at Sonoma State.  He is a
2001 graduate of Sonoma State with a B.S. in Business Administration.
