Mark Engel, a seasoned Detroit sports publicist and the sports information director for the University of Detroit Mercy Titans, received the Kathy Best Best of the Best Award, which recognizes the quality and tireless work performed by Detroit-area media professionals in sports related public and media relations.
Engel is also the golf coach at UDM. The award was previously awarded to: Kathy Best, Bruce Madej, Mike Murray, Tommy Cameron, Tyler Barnes, Matt Dobek, Bill Keenist, Risa Balayem, John Lewandowski and Dennis Davidson.
