SWAC Commissioner Robert C. Vowels, Jr. today announced that William Bright Jr. has been promoted to Director of Media Relations, replacing Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Wallace Dooley Jr., who resigned to become the Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations at Tennessee State University.
Bright was promoted after spending the last year as Assistant Director of Media Relations. He will continue to be the womens volleyball liaison and fill the role of media operations coordinator for the SWAC Basketball Tournament, organize the annual football media day and basketball media teleconference.
