Wilkins returns for his second stint with the Wildcats and his primary duties will include being the liaison for the men’s hockey and women’s volleyball teams. He served as an athletic media relations assistant with UNH in 2003-04 and comes to UNH after serving as Director of Communications for the America East Conference.

Prior to his work at America East, Wilkins served as Assistant Sports Information Director for two years at Quinnipiac University (Hamden, Conn.). While there, he served as the primary contact for the Bobcats’ men’s soccer, men’s basketball, baseball and golf teams.

During this first stint with UNH, Wilkins worked as the primary contact for men’s soccer and men’s basketball and assisted with various other sports. A native of Pelham, N.H., Wilkins is a 2003 graduate of Assumption College (Worcester, Mass.), cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and History. In 2006, Wilkins earned his Master’s Degree in Interactive Communication at Quinnipiac.

Coplin, a native of Plaistow (N.H.) who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology: Sport Studies from UNH in May 2007, originally worked in the UNH athletic media relations office as a student during the 2006-07 academic year.  During that stint, he assisted with statistics at various sports and his office duties included writing press releases to student-athletes’ hometown media outlets.

This past summer, Coplin worked as an intern in the sports department at The Telegraph (Nashua, N.H.). His primary duties at UNH will include liaison of the women’s soccer and men’s basketball teams as well as for both cross country and all track teams.
