The Speaking Specialists to Present At CoSIDA Convention

The Speaking Specialists, Sue Castorino and Randy Minkoff, will conduct a panel at the 2007 CoSIDA Convention in San Diego on the topic of Dealing with the 21st Century Media: The Impact of the Internet and What you Need to Know Now.

The topic will take place on Tuesday, July 3 at 9:15 a.m. PT at the San Diego Marriott & Marina.

With the new technologies of the internet, the media world has changed. SIDs need to be aware of whats out there and what you can do about it. More than ever before athletes, coaches and SIDs are on the record and privacy has become a public matter. Anyone can be a reporter today and post information within seconds after somethings happened. The Speaking Specialists will show numerous videotaped examples of image issues, the impact of the Internet, and how the mainstream media has had to adapt. They will also share stories and discuss techniques for dealing with the public when issues arise - because they will.
