During the 2007 CoSIDA Convention in San Diego, two special events are planned for members bringing their families to this years 50th annual event. Reserve your spot now! Rates will only be available based on advanced registrations for these trips.
On Saturday, June 30 at 3 p.m., a spouse and family City Tour has been scheduled on a double-decker bus which will allow for on and off stops. The bus, which seats up to 72 passengers, will pick up tour participants outside the Marriott and is scheduled to make about nine stops during its two-hour run. Tour participants are allowed to get on and off as they please or stay on and complete the tour.
Tickets for the tour are priced at $20 each for adults and $10 for children (children under 4 may ridge free of charge). In order for CoSIDA to get the discounted child rate, a minimum of 10 children must purchase tickets. Included in the price of all tickets is a second day bus ride free of charge. The bus tour does make a stop at the world-famous San Diego Zoo and runs every hour with the last return trip from the zoo scheduled for approximately 4 p.m.
The second special event scheduled for spouses is CoSIDAs Morning at Macys, which starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 1. All CoSIDA spouses attending this event at Macys, which is within walking distance of the Marriott, will receive 11 percent off discount coupons (which may be used in-store or at home), free makeovers or facials, gift bags, as well as a complimentary continental breakfast.
Reservations for either event be made in advance to secure the discount pricing in the case of the bus tour and so that Macys can plan accordingly for its event.
