At Ohio State, Poe's main responsibility will be to serve as the communications director for the Buckeye football program. She will handle all media inquiries, maintain daily contact with the coaches, student-athletes and media, serve as editor of the media guide and travel with the team to road and bowl games. Poe is one of a select number of females serving in that role at NCAA Division I institutions.

Poe comes to Ohio State from West Virginia, where she has served as the sports information director since 1988. At West Virginia, Poe handled the publicity efforts for football while overseeing both the full-time and student staff in its coverage of the school's 16 other sports. She worked with the WVU men's basketball team for nine years and continued to oversee game operations, payroll and credentials for all varsity sports. A 1985 graduate of WVU, Poe was an assistant director for the Mountaineers from 1985-88 after working as a student assistant as an undergraduate. She was inducted into the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Hall of Fame in 2006 and served on the CoSIDA Board of Directors from 1999-2003. Poe also will work with the Ohio State women's lacrosse program.

Emig returns to collegiate athletics after spending the past eight years working in public relations, most recently for the Ohio Board of Regents as their administrator for communications. He worked in the athletics communications office at Ohio State for five years (1995-00), serving as the associate director before being promoted to director in March 1998. He also has worked at Temple and Southern Illinois. He earned his bachelor's degree from Murray State and has a master's degree in sports administration from Ohio State. Emig will work with the baseball, women's soccer and men's and women's swimming and diving programs at Ohio State, as well as serving as the editor for the football and men's and women's basketball gameday programs.

Warner has spent the past four years as an undergraduate intern and full-time intern in the Ohio State Athletics Communications Office. During her first two years, she was the student contact for field hockey, women's hockey and men's gymnastics. The following two years, she was the media relations contact for women's soccer, wrestling and synchronized swimming. Warner graduated from Ohio State in 2005 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. As an assistant director, Warner will continue to work with wrestling and synchronized swimming and also will handle rowing and men's tennis.

Meyer has spent the past two years as an undergraduate intern in the Ohio State Athletics Communications Office. During her time as an undergrad, she was the student contact for men's gymnastics and assisted with men's lacrosse, men's hockey, women's basketball and softball. Meyer graduated from Ohio State in 2007 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. As the graduate intern, she will continue to work with men's gymnastics and also will act as a web site feature story writer.
