The genuine relationships he has formed with a host of media members, as well as his colleagues throughout college athletics, combined with his enthusiasm and work ethic, make him the perfect choice for this important position.
“I believe that John’s credentials and experience bring instant credibility to our sports media relations department and his key contacts and outgoing nature will help raise the profile of Wagner College athletics,” Hameline added. “We are excited to have John on board and welcome him to the Seahawk family.”

“I am excited to return to college athletics and am fortunate to be continuing my career at such a highly-respected institution as Wagner,” said Beisser. “I have long held a great deal of respect for Wagner College and its athletic programs and am well aware of the fine reputation that Walt Hameline holds within college athletics circles. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility of promoting the athletic program at a college that boasts such a fine academic reputation, incomparable location, first-class facilities and picturesque campus setting.”
