Football Schedule
Week Before Game
- TV producer contacts both schools…sets up preliminary schedule for meetings with both teams-players and coaches.

- Alert both teams about probable kickoff time.

- Get list to media department for media packet to be mailed before end of week.

- Technical manager contacts facility people for preliminary conversation (this will often happen a few weeks out).

Game Week
Monday
- Follow up phone call from previous week. Confirm meeting times with both teams. Go over other scheduling items. Confirm credential and parking requests.

- Technical Manager contacts facilities people to discuss park and power etc.

Tuesday
- Confirm kickoff time-layout pre-game timing sheet

Wednesday
- Conference call with visiting team coaches and players

Thursday
- Trucks park & power-cabling and setup begins

Friday
- Technical setup continues throughout day/pre-production throughout the day
(2-3 runners or gofers from media office are usually requested to help)

Meetings with home team coaches and players-includes on camera interviews

Saturday
- Crew arrives hours before kickoff…preparations continue up until start of game.

- SIDs stop by trucks 2 hours (approx) before kickoff-check graphics for mistakes…go to booth check in
with announcers for last minute questions etc. SIDs available to production crew throughout the game via ring down phone.

Basketball Schedule (You can push back schedule for Sunday game-1 day)
Week Before Game

- Park & power-usually by 8am-technical setup continues throughout day/ pre-production throughout the day (2-3 runners or gofers from media office are usually requested to help)

- Announcers-producer/director attend practices…meet with coaches and players at courtside.

- Some on camera interviews may be requested.

Saturday
- Crew arrives 4 ½ hours before tip…preparations continue up until start of game.

- SIDs stop by trucks 2 hours (approx) before tip-check graphics for mistakes…go to announce table

- Check in with announcers for last minute questions etc. SIDs available to production crew throughout the game via ring down phone.
