The December 19th edition of
ESPN The Magazine features a special advertisement recognizing the eight student-athletes who were selected as Academic All-Americas of the Year in the sports of football, soccer and volleyball by CoSIDA: Tim Tebow (Florida), Greg Micheli (Mount Union), Christa Harmotto (Penn State), Amber Thomas (Juniata), Zack Simmons (Massachusetts), Jonathan Hall (Carnegie Mellon), Yael Averbuch (North Carolina) and Katy Tafler (Grand Valley State).
The advertisement, which appears in full color, also contains information on CoSIDA’s partnership with
ESPN The Magazine in recognizing the accomplishments of student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom through the Academic All-America program.
ESPN The Magazine will recognize the achievements of the Academic All-America of the Year honorees throughout the coming year with additional advertisements during the Winter and Spring of 2009.
