Dear CoSIDA Members:

For years, the CoSIDA Board along with the Workshop Program and Social Committees have worked extremely hard to bring you a quality workshop. The CoSIDA Workshop is a great value for us. For a very nominal registration fee, we have enjoyed a quality program, discounts on hotel rates, catered luncheons, continental breakfasts, evening social functions and more.

Since I have been on the board, I have seen our treasurer, Dave Wohlhueter, try to balance the books so that we can break even on the convention every year. And every year, it seems to get tougher. Hotel room and rental rates continue increasing, catering costs have gone up, the cost of transportation has definitely risen while workshop attendance has leveled off.

During the CoSIDA Board conference call of Feb. 14, 2008, the board approved a nominal increase in the registration for all participants of future CoSIDA Workshops. Starting with this year's workshop, the cost for registration to CoSIDA members will increase $25.00. The cost for non-members will increase by $100.00. The increase will make the following adjustment for registration to the workshop:

- Non-CoSIDA member pre-registration $ 250.00 (increase of $100)
- CoSIDA member pre-registration $150.00 (increase of $25)
- Each spouse, friend, child pre-registration $150.00 (increase of $25)
- Non-CoSIDA member registering on site $300.00 (increase of $125)
- CoSIDA member registering on site $175.00 (increase of $25)
- Each spouse, friend, child registering on site $175.00 (increase of $25)

The CoSIDA Workshop continues to be one of the best values for any of its kind of workshops in the country. We hope that you can make it to Tampa this year for CoSIDA's 51st annual workshop.
