College athletic brands are constantly in the spotlight with the advent of blogs, fan forums, Facebook, and other influential social media sites. The meteoric rise of these social media platforms has prevented meaningful research from being conducted about its trends and impact.
Sports Media Challenge has undertaken the task of discovering how "Fan-generated media" (blogs, forums, etc...) is being used and accepted by college athletic professionals around the country.
This short online survey will be given to both CoSIDA and NACDA members in an effort to incorporate the opinions of college athletics directors and communication professionals. Each participant will be given an Executive Summary of findings, which will provide valuable data comparing your athletic program against national trends. The leadership of both NACDA and CoSIDA have endorsed the need for this survey to assist its respective memberships in better understanding this rapidly growing medium.
Please share your thoughts and opinions by completing this online survey by Wednesday, May 28th. Thank you for your insight and time. Please direct all questions to Jake Rosen (jrosen@sportsmediachallenge.com).
