CoSIDA is excited to announce that Sports Systems Services, the nation’s preeminent online media and guest registration provider with more than 500 college clients, is the newest member of the family of corporate partners.
The decision that Sports Systems will serve as the “Official Convention Online Registration Provider,” starting with the 2009 convention in San Antonio, culminated extensive research done by the CoSIDA Board in its attempt to streamline the registration process for CoSIDA Conventions.
“CoSIDA is pleased to have Sports Systems Services join our corporate partner family and be our ‘Official Convention Online Registration Provider’ starting with the 2009 Convention,” said CoSIDA president Charles Bloom. “Sports Systems has developed a tremendous track record of service, technology and adaptation to the needs of its clients in a relatively short time. I am confident that, through this partnership, both parties will benefit from the opportunities each has to offer. "
Sports Systems will provide and manage a new online convention registration process for members, vendors and affiliated organizations, and becomes CoSIDA’s newest corporate partner thus joining major corporate partners College Fanz Sports Network, ESPN and ESPN The Magazine, DigiPixArt, ICS, Multi-Ad Print Solutions, and the NBA/WNBA. SSSI Vice Presidents for Marketing Brian Binette and David Grim – long-time SIDs at South Carolina and Tennessee, respectively – will be on hand in Tampa to answer questions about the process and all of SSSI’s services.
Beginning next spring, individuals who plan to attend the 2009 CoSIDA Convention in San Antonio will click a link on
www.CoSIDA.com that will allow an individual to request for his/her entire office, pay online via credit card, and receive an automatic confirmation that the registration has been received. The process will streamline paperwork, allow SIDs and others to register easier, and provide an online tool for CoSIDA administration to manage attendees at the 2009 and future conventions.
“We could not be happier than to be partners with CoSIDA and provide this service,” said Binette. “David (Grim) and I are former SIDs and have dedicated our post-SID time to making jobs easier for media managers, and this is just another step in that direction. Sports Systems has long been associated with CoSIDA and this is our way to give back to the organization and to the SIDs who have been very good to us from day one.”
Sports Systems, founded in 1986, has provided the online registration systems for the ECAC-SIDA Annual Workshop and the Football Bowl Association (FBA) and NCAA Football Licensing Subcommittee Meetings the last three years. SSSI also provides the online system to manage media credentials for the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division I Basketball Championships, College World Series and Frozen Four; 30 post-season college bowl games including all five BCS bowls; more than 12 conferences and 30 schools; the LPGA Tour, British Open, Kentucky Derby, U.S. Tennis Open and many other groups and organizations. Sports Systems has provided more than 1,200 systems to manage people the last three years alone, including managing more than 6,000 international media for the April visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United States.
Sports Systems will be at booth number 113 in the vendor area at the 2008 CoSIDA Convention in Tampa and will be available to answer your questions.
