On Monday night five inductees were honored as the Class of 2008 for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame in a ceremony at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. ESPN basketball analyst Dick Vitale was honored Monday as the winner of the 2008 Keith Jackson Eternal Flame Award. The award was presented at the Kickoff Luncheon at the 2008 CoSIDA Convention at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. Presenting the award is CoSIDA President Charles Bloom of the Southeastern Conference.
