The CoSIDA July 1st awards ceremony was highlighted by the Jake Wade Award presentation to Billy Packer (left) of CBS Sports. CoSIDA Special Awards Committee Chairman Larry Dougherty of Temple also presented the Bob Kenworthy Community Service, College and University Rising Star, Trailblazer and Lester Jordan Awards at the Tampa Marriott Waterside hotel.

Mendy Nestor of Pittsburgh was the University Division recipient of the Rising Star Award.
Cindy Fotti of Coulmbia College was the College Division winner of the Rising Star Award.
