Updated information on the announcement delay
The 2010 ESPN Academic All-America® Men's Soccer All-District Teams and Women's Soccer All-District Teams were scheduled to be announced on Thursday, Oct. 28.
Due to some technical issues with the online system tabulations, the release of the soccer All-District teams has been delayed.
The teams will now be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at noon (Eastern).

If a CoSIDA member has a student-athlete selected to
FIRST TEAM ALL-DISTRICT (ONLY) on NOV. 2, that member has until Thursday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. to update their student-athlete bio information for the national Academic All-America ballot.
The national Academic All-America men's soccer team announcement will be pushed back one day to Wednesday, Nov. 17 (from Nov. 16), while the AAA women's soccer team announcement will take place as scheduled (on Thursday, Nov. 18).
The new 2010 Academic All-America men's & women's soccer schedule:
- teams released (both University & College Divisions): Tuesday, Nov. 2 (noon ET)
- deadline for updating first-team all-district: 6 p.m. ET on Thursday Nov. 4
- the Academic All-America Committe ONLY votes for AAA national teams; AAA voting deadline: 6 p.m. ET on Friday Nov. 12
- teams sent to Vice Chair for verification: Sat., Nov. 13
- Academic All-America MEN'S SOCCER release date: Wed. Nov. 17
- Academic All-America WOMEN'S SOCCER release date: Thur., Nov. 18

REMINDER: ESPN Academic All-District® football and volleyball team ballots are open through Tuesday, Nov. 2

The voting deadline for the ESPN Academic All-District® football and women's volleyball teams is 6 p.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
To vote in the ESPN Academic All-America® program, visit the Academic All-America® Web site at
http://www.cosida.com/aa and log in with your CoSIDA user name and password.
Once you have logged in, there will be an option for “Vote on a District Ballot.” Click on this link to go to a screen listing the district ballots that are available for you to vote upon. Select the radio button for the ballot you wish to vote upon and click on “Proceed to Ballot.”
You can print a copy of the ballot to peruse by clicking the link and printing the page that pops up. To reduce the chance of a time out error, first print copies of all the ballots, then log out (or close your browser window) and read through the printed copies, then log back in to vote.
To vote, click the radio buttons for the student-athletes for whom you wish to vote, then click “submit ballot.” If there are more ballots for you to vote upon, the system will prompt you to vote on those.
Every vote does count, so cast yours today! Remember, the voting deadline for football and women's volleyball is 6 p.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
