FORT LEE, NJ-
Sports Systems, the leader in online media accreditation systems, will provide 32 of 35 college football bowl games with its PressPass system this year, including the BCS National Championship game for the fifth consecutive year.

As college football's elite battle for postseason spots in the final weekend of the season, media wishing to cover the climax to the college football season can request game credentials, parking and make hotel and telecommunication choices online through the bowl games PressPass systems. Media are automatically alerted by email of their credential approval status and sent other valuable information to help them in their coverage.

Sports Systems anticipates processing almost 10,000 media credential applications in the next five weeks for its bowl clients.

"Sports Systems makes the credentialing process easy for everyone involved," said BCS executive director Bill Hancock. "Their staff members are professional, knowledgeable and responsive. We're delighted to be working with them again."

Media may access PressPass for most games through the bowl game official web sites and the online sites for the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the Football Bowl Association (FBA).

"Our relationship with the BCS and our bowl clients is very important," Sports Systems President and CEO Jim Daigle explained. "We are happy to provide custom online systems to help our bowl clients better control the bevy of media credential requests in a short period, and also aid many of them in the areas of hospitality, volunteers and operations."

Sports Systems provided custom media credential systems to over 30 major colleges and conference championship games this year, completing an active 2010 slate that contained events such as the NCAA Final Four, Kentucky Derby, US Open and Ryder Cup.

"It's hard to remember what we did before Sports Systems," said Gina Chappin, Rose Bowl Director of Media. "It has simplified our process while making it much more efficient and manageable. Media have come to expect the ease of service and consistency from one event to the next through working with Sports Systems."

College football's final BCS standings and the matchup for the 2011 BCS National Championship will be announced Sunday on ESPN (8:15 p.m. EST).
