CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District men's & women's basketball teams announced


The 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Teams for men's basketball and women's basketball have been selected, as announced February 4 by the Academic All-America® Committee.

Below are the Academic All-America® All-District Teams in both men's and women's basketball for University and College Divisions. Nominations and voting for the All-America programs are conducted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

There is a University Division (Division I programs) and a College Division (DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA programs) for men's and women's basketball.

Three Academic All-District teams are chosen in each district, with those on the All-District first teams placed on the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
CoSIDA members with student-athletes on the Academic All-District first-team should log back in to the CoSIDA Academic All-America®  web page to update their nominees’ statistics and supporting data for inclusion on the Academic All-America® ballot. The deadline for updating nominations is noon, Eastern Time, on Mon., Feb. 8.
