CoSIDA Members:
The nomination forms for the Capital One Academic All-America® men's and women's basketball programs are now available! The nomination deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 18 (at 6 p.m. Eastern) but please don't wait until the last minute!
All nominations for the Capital One Academic All-America® program must be done online through the CoSIDA Web site.
Nominations will be accepted only from current CoSIDA members, and members may nominate student-athletes only from their own institution.
To nominate student-athlete(s) for the Capital One Academic All-America® program, visit the Academic All-America® Web site at
http://www.cosida.com/aa and log in with your CoSIDA user name and password.
If you do not have your user name and profile, click the link next to "Forget your login information?" and your user information will be sent to the e-mail address that appears in the CoSIDA directory.
When finished with the nomination form, hit "submit" and the system will e-mail a receipt for the nomination.
Make sure to save this confirmation e-mail, as it contains a unique ID number which will assist in troubleshooting if necessary.
Repeat as necessary for as many nominations as you have.

NOMINATION REMINDERS
Refer to the Academic All-America FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) DOCUMENT (.pdf)
• The nominee must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials.
• Nominees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) in BOTH undergrad and graduate work.
This MAY NOT be rounded up to 3.30 — thus, a student-athlete with a 3.299 GPA is not eligible. Nominees in graduate school must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or better both as an undergrad AND in graduate school. For example, a student-athlete with GPAs of 3.0 in undergraduate work and 3.9 in graduate school would not be eligible, even if the average of the two combined was above 3.30.
• Nominees must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at your institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one academic year at your institution.
• Nominees must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games (in the position listed on the nomination form).
• The basketball programs are not selected by position, so please remember to include the nominee’s position (when applicable) in the field for academic and athletic accomplishments.

Please proof your nomination(s) carefully. Once you hit the "Submit" button, you CANNOT go back and edit a nomination. If it is necessary to make a change to a submitted nomination, contact your district coordinator.

Do NOT enter a PO Box as a university address. The CoSIDA awards system cannot ship to PO Boxes. You MUST enter an overnight mailing address/delivery address.
