Please note that the information discussed during the call will be embargoed until a telephonic press conference with national media at 2:30 p.m. Eastern the afternoon of October 25.

Background
• This reporting cycle represents the sixth year that Academic Success Rate (ASR) data have been collected for Division II institutions.
• The federal graduation rate includes only first-time, full-time fall freshmen. For student-athlete rates, it includes only those receiving athletics aid in their freshman year.
• The Division II ASR includes transfersinto an institution in the calculation of the rate, but removesfrom the cohort students who leave the institution while academically eligible to compete.
• Additionally, the ASR includes all non-scholarshipfreshman student-athletes on the roster on the first date of competition.
