The Academic All-District ® volleyball teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. This is the first year of the expanded Academic All-America® program as CoSIDA moves from recognizing a University Division (Division I) and a College Division (all non Division I) and doubles the number of scholar-athletes honored. The teams include NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III participants, while the College Division team combines NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.

The Capital One Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2011-12 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams program.

First-team Academic All-District ® volleyball honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month. FOR SIDs with First Team All-District selections, please see the section below on updating bio information by MONDAY, NOV. 14.

CoSIDA members with student-athletes on the Academic All-District Volleyball FIRST TEAM should log back in to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® website to update their nominees' statistics and
supporting data for inclusion on the Academic All-America® ballot.

To update your nominations, log in to: http://www.cosida.com/aa with your CoSIDA user name and password.

If you do not have your user name and password, click the link next to "Forget your login information?" and your user name and password will be sent to the e-mail address that appears in the CoSIDA directory.

Once you have logged in, if you have a first-team all-district selection in the current program, there will be an option to "Update Statistics for a District Winner." Click on that and you can access the statistics and data fields (the 500-character limit still applies, though).

SIDs: Please make sure your student-athlete's name, major(s) and hometown are listed correctly. If incorrect information is not corrected prior to the national team announcement, your institution will be responsible for the cost of reproducing a corrected award.

Student-athletes on the Academic All-District second and third teams (if applicable) do not advance to the national ballot but are provided as a further opportunity for recognition.

Thank you for your participation in the Capital One Academic All-America® programs!
